When and why did you start training for fighting? I started fighting in May 2010, when my buddy randomly asked about traveling to South Dakota on a week’s notice to fight in an amateur show. I fell in love and didn’t look back. 

What ranks and titles have you held? Current Dynasty Combat Sports featherweight champ

Do you have any heroes? My grandmother 

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It means everything I’ve been working for and everything I’ve passed up or gave up in the last 10 years was for something. It’s a dream come true after 31 fights of ups and downs.

What was your job before you started fighting? Applicator of chemicals at a coop. 

Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? Three amateur MMA titles  12-1-1 record
