Fighting Brits: Barnatt And Pickett

Manchester’s Michael Bisping and Sunderland’s Ross Pearson may have succumbed to defeats against UFC Sydney, but two other British fighters are making sure they don’t suffer a similar fate as they get ready for their own bouts this autumn.
Luke “BigslowBarnatt and Brad “One Punch” Pickett are very different fighters with very different approaches to the sport. Young and articulate, Barnatt has earned a devoted following for his unorthodox but effective striking, his time on TUF and his regular appearances on BT Sport’s UFC coverage and Gareth A. Davies’ UFC World podcast.
Flyweight Brad Pickett, meanwhile, is a decade older, with a huge fan following – UFC President Dana White has said Pickett is one of his favourite fighters to watch – on account of his flamboyant entrances and his hugely-entertaining stand-up fighting style.
