Friday Fight Update: Vick, Sasaki get fights

On May 8, the UFC will travel to Rotterdam for its first show in the Netherlands, and while there are no fights in the Octagon this weekend, there are plenty of updates for upcoming shows, starting with UFC Fight Night next Sunday, where the retirement of Paddy Holohan has allowed Japan's Ulka Sasaki to step in and face Willie Gates in a flyweight bout.

The first event of June also got a change this week, as an injury to Leonardo Santos has forced him out of his UFC 199 bout against Evan Dunham on June 4 in Inglewood. Accepting the call to take the bout will be unbeaten James Vick, who just earned his fifth consecutive UFC win last Saturday by defeating Glaico Franca.

A month later on July 7, the UFC's slate of three events in three nights kicks off in Las Vegas, where two bouts have been added to the card: A lightweight clash between Mitch Clarke and Joe Duffy, and a bantamweight showdown pitting Anthony Birchak against Dileno Lopes.
