Fight Night Japan Bonus Report

Read on to find out who took home post-fight bonuses from Fight Night Japan.
Five fighters convened at the Fight Night Japan post-fight press conference: Myles Jury, Yoshihiro Akiyama, Kyoji Horiguchi, Mark Hunt, and Takanori Gomi.

Bantamweights Michinori Tanaka and Kyung Ho Kang took home $50,000 dollars each for their Fight of the Night bout during the prelims. Kang controlled the opening round but Tanaka bounced back in the second before a razor-thin third round led to a split decision in Kang's favor.

The Performance of the Night bonuses went to Hunt and UFC newcomer Johnny Case. Hunt became the first person to finish Roy Nelson inside the Octagon with punches, while Case posted a key second-round submission victory over Kazuki Tokudome in his debut.
