T.J. Dillashaw Named Brand Ambassador for Topps

The Topps Company, Inc. and the UFC® announced today that UFC bantamweight Champion T.J. Dillashaw has been named its brand ambassador for Topps’ UFC products. During his title defense at UFC 177 last month, Dillashaw earned his third straight win of 2014 and received a “Performance of the Night” bonus that etched his name in the UFC record books as the first fighter in UFC history to earn two fifth-round stoppage victories. As the Topps ambassador, Dillashaw’s autographed trading cards will be featured in all upcoming Topps UFC releases including the new Topps UFC Champions collectible card set, now available online and in retail stores. Fans and collectors will also have the opportunity to meet Dillashaw during various ambassador appearances and meet and greets, as well as engage with the champion through Topps official social media accounts.
“One of my greatest thrills was getting my own Topps card last year, and I’m proud to be part of the Topps team as this new product launches,” Dillashaw said. “There is something here for fans of all ages, and it’s going to be fun helping get fans excited about these new cards.”
Dillashaw has joined the Topps family just in time to support the all-new 2014 Topps UFC Champions card set. The set is the most comprehensive collectible card product ever launched in the sport of mixed martial arts (MMA) and is Topps’ first card set available in mass retailers in years. Topps UFC Champions card set includes a never-before seen series of 25 of the greatest UFC champions past and present along with memorabilia cards, autographed cards and some of the most unique collectables for both the casual and diehard MMA fans.

The set also features many former champions including former middleweight champion Anderson Silva, who holds the longest title defense streak in UFC history, and UFC Hall of Famers Chuck Liddell, Forrest Griffin and Royce Gracie. 
2014 Topps® UFC Champions is now available at Target, Toys R Us, Dollar Stores, local hobby stores and internet retailers.
