"This wasn’t transformation; this was transcendence. Alex Caceres was moving on. He was moving on from the constructs that had bound him for so many years. He was moving on from this idea that he hadto look a certain way, had to act a certain way, had to think a certain way, had to be a certain way.

"The direction down this path wasn’t as simple as clicking overnight delivery, and boom: enlightenment. It was a gradual change due to accumulation of different experiences and knowledge. The feelings that there was something else beyond our physical realm were always there for Alex, but for whatever reason–call it apprehension, doubt, or ineffability–it took something else for him to articulate those thoughts that were inside of him.
