Two light heavyweights on the rise will square off in Newark, New Jersey on Saturday, April 18, as number eight-ranked Ovince Saint Preux battles 15th-ranked Patrick Cummins at Prudential Center.
Tickets for UFC Fight Night Newark, which is headlined by the middleweight bout between top contenders Lyoto Machida and Luke Rockhold, go on sale on February 20. The card will air on FOX.
Unbeaten in six of his last seven bouts, Saint Preux is coming off the biggest win of his pro career last November, a 34-second knockout of Brazilian star Mauricio "Shogun" Rua that earned him Performance of the Night honors. Following his UFC debut loss to Daniel Cormier in February of 2014, Cummins has gone on to win three straight over Roger Narvaez, Kyle Kingsbury and Antonio Carlos Junior.
