Alves Scratched from Tulsa Card

After a triumphant return to the Octagon in April after two years on the sidelines, the injury bug has once again bit welterweight Thiago Alves, who has been forced out of his August 23 bout in Tulsa against Jordan Mein.

Stepping in for the "Pitbull" will be Colorado phenom Brandon Thatch, who has finished both Justin Edwards and Paulo Thiago in his first two Octagon bouts.

Tickets for the event at the BOK Center go on sale on Friday, July 11.
