Biografia

TRAINING: I normally do two training sessions a day - one in the morning/midday and one late afternoon/night. So I wake up early, have a good breakfast and go back to sleep a little bit more, then wake up an hour before the first training session and have a lighter breakfast. Training depends on the day. It can be wrestling, physical conditioning or sparring (I normally do at least two of these a week). After training, I eat and sleep, wake up, do some ironing or things I have to do, eat again and go for my next training session (normally jiu-jitsu or boxing). I come back home, eat, relax, sometimes do a massage.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training jiu-jitsu very young, and I soon became a fan of the gentle art.

What ranks and titles have you held? Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt, 2009 World Jiu-jitsu champion in Black belt division from CBJJO (Brazilian Confederation of Olympic Jiu-Jitsu)

Do you have any heroes? My coaches and my family.

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It’s a dream coming true.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? No

What was your job before you started fighting? I became a fighter very young.
