Robert DrysdaleTRAINING: The day is split in between two sessions - Morning and evening. Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling or sparring in the morning, followed by conditioning or pad work in the evening. When and why did you start training for fighting? I began practicing jiu-jitsu when I was 16. I've always been attracted to combat and when I discovered JJ I was in love with it. What ranks and titles have you held? None in MMA. As for JJ, multiple time world and national champion, both gi and nogi Do you have any heroes? My mother What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? I feel like my whole life has been leading me to this moment. I realize what an amazing opportunity it is and I don't plan on letting it slip by. Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Yes, History major What was your job before you started fighting? I've worked in retail, as a therapist and as a front desk person before. I was horrible at all of them. Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? Many in JJ on the national and international level. Specific accomplishments in pro competition?
