Training: In the morning, a lot of wrestling and conditioning; stand-up or BJJ at night.
When and why did you start training for fighting? I had my first pro fight in 2004. I was just a big kid who liked fighting and since than, I am always looking to improve myself as a fighter and an athlete. I started it to improve myself as a person and an individual.
Do you have any heroes? Neil Armstrong, Chuck Yeager, Jesse Owens.
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It is a dream come true. It’s a really big honor for me to be in the UFC.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I am still in college (Sports Science)
What was your job before you started fighting? Student
Specific accomplishments in pro competition? 2007 Gracie international -100kg and absolute winner, Bristol Open -100kg and absolute winner, Southern Open winner, Finland ADCC 2005 winner, winner of multiple other tournaments through Europe.

Favourite grappling technique: Sweeps, positioning and passing the guard.
Favourite striking technique: Punches or kicks that cause damage.
