When and why did you start training for fighting? When I got out of the military I needed to focus my training I received in the Corps. Some guys become cops, some become firefighters; I want to punch people in the face.
 
What ranks and titles have you held? Corporal.
 
Do you have any heroes? Chesty Puller
 
What is your favorite technique? Striking, hard and swift.
 
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? Everything. I would like to make the UFC my home. I have waited a long time for this shot.
 
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? The Marines is where I went.
 
What was your job before you started fighting? I have had numerous jobs, and I am currently still a general manager at Spearmint Rhino Rialto.
