Training: I teach BJJ in the morning, then train with the team. I teach BJJ again in the evening, and then train again.

When and why did you start training for fighting?
I’ve been doing Judo since I was five.  After my military service in Israel, I started training Jiu-Jitsu. One of my friends asked me to come and help him get ready for an MMA fight. After that I was hooked.

Do you have any heroes? Crazy Bob Cook

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It means everything to me.  I’ve been training for this for years; I’m excited for the opportunity.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? No, was in the Israeli Defense Forces

What was your job before you started fighting? Soldier

Ranks in any martial arts styles: Black belt in Jiu-Jitsu, second degree Black Belt in Judo

Favorite grappling technique: RNC

Favorite striking technique: Cross
• Pro since 2008
