Training: It’s usually two practices a day - conditioning in the morning and drills, sparring at night.
When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training for MMA about five years ago. But I did jiu-jitsu and wrestling my whole life.
What ranks and titles have you held? Sport Fight middleweight champion. Grapplers Quest champion, South American wrestling champion, Four-time Brazilian wrestling champion, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt
Do you have any heroes? No. I have many idols. To name a few in MMA - Anderson Silva, Randy Couture, Sakuraba...
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It means that I made it to the big league.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I dropped out of Accounting school.
What was your job before you started fighting? Delivery driver
