Biografia

TRAINING: I am training twice per day during the week. For my cardio and conditioning I'm doing a lot of functional exercises and sports agility training. I’m also having a lot of striking practice and a lot of groundwork, with more attention to wrestling, which I'm picking up on very fast.

Thoughts on opponent, Frank Mir? I think Frank Mir's jiu-jitsu is very impressive, and he's a dangerous guy. He seems to be pretty confident on his feet striking as well. For sure we're going to put on a great show for the fans.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started with Jiu-Jitsu in 2005, afterwards I met Dorea, who introduced me to Boxing

What ranks and titles have you held? Bahia State Jiu-Jitsu Champion; Bahia State Submission Champion

Do you have any heroes? Rodrigo "Minotauro" Nogueira

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It's the biggest organization, and it's a dream that quickly became true.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? No
