Biografia

Training: I train twice a day. Mornings are jiu-jitsu and strength and conditioning. The nights are boxing, Muay Thai and sparring. I work technique every day, just trying to get better in every aspect to become a better all-around fighter.

I started training January 2007. I used to wrestle in high school and still had a desire to test myself in one on one competition.

What ranks and titles have you held? Wrestling- 2001 3rd in AZ State Championships, 2002 AZ State Champ and Outstanding Wrestler of the Year. In Dec 2007 I won the Caged Supremacy Welterweight Championship.

Do you have any heroes? Randy Couture.

What is your favorite technique? Knocking somebody out.

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? This is a dream come true. I said when I started that I wanted to give it shot and hopefully make it to the UFC one day and now it is here. I hope to make the best of the opportunity. The UFC is the best organization, it is the only one that can truly say it has world champions from 155-HWT.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I attended some college but I do not have a degree.

What was your job before you started fighting? I worked in a furniture warehouse.
