Biografia

TRAINING: A typical day of training for me for this fight includes strength & conditioning, BJJ, striking and MMA training, as well my regular work that I do teaching BJJ classes.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training BJJ in 1996 because my brother Bruno Tank was training BJJ for one year and he brought me to the gym to try a class. I never stopped.

What ranks and titles have you held? I'm a BJJ black belt and a BJJ world champion in the international BJJ federation as a black belt with gi and two times with no gi.

Do you have any heroes? Jesus Christ

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? A big opportunity to show my talent.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Yes, I graduated college with a degree in Physical Education.

What was your job before you started fighting? BJJ instructor

• Pro since 2014

• Four wins by submission (2 armbar, RNC, triangle), one by knockout – has finished all wins

• Two first round finishes
